For nearly four decades, Pasta Moon has served Half Moon Bay's Main Street from a kitchen built around house-made pasta, wood-fired cooking, and whatever's freshest from the coast and the farms nearby. A Michelin Guide selection, the restaurant draws on local Dungeness crab, seasonal produce, and scratch-made everything — from pasta dough to dessert — to bring real Italian cooking to the California coast.

Owner Kim Levin has run Pasta Moon since the beginning, and her approach hasn't changed: cook with what's good that day, keep it honest, and make people feel taken care of. The result is a menu that shifts with the seasons but always centers on the things Pasta Moon is known for — hand-cut pasta, wood-oven pizza, and dishes built around Half Moon Bay's own seafood.
